Transport for London (TfL) is hiring a Painter. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing parts through sanding, washing, and inspecting for damage, and will be proficient in powder coating application. You will follow established processes to ensure quality and maintain equipment.
What You'll Do
- Sand, wash, and inspect for damage all parts prior to paint.
- Perform quality checks, audits, and inspections to ensure products are defect free.
- Follow established process and procedures to achieve 0 quality defects.
- Follow standard work procedures before, during, and at the end of the shift as defined by the department guidelines.
- Practice good housekeeping and 5S in your area.
- Maintain all equipment and tools within the workstation as required by the preventative maintenance schedules.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in powder coating application.
