Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is hiring a Packaging Assembler for the 6 am-2 pm shift. In this role, you will be responsible for general assembly tasks associated with the packaging of our quality cheese products, contributing directly to our mission of bringing good to the table.

What You'll Do

Manually feed cheese to the conveyor belt for scaling and wrapping.
Monitor product on the line to ensure continuous movement.
Fill cases by count or weight and push them into carton sealers.
Stack completed cases on pallets according to product configuration and count.
Clean and sanitize all production equipment.
Operate and fill dry ingredient dispensers as required.
Change tape in carton sealers.
Return rejected packages to the packing area and handle them appropriately.
Inspect trucks for cleanliness and transport suitability.
Verify accuracy of pallet, box, tag, barcode, and tally sheet information.
Maintain regular attendance and perform other assigned duties.

What We're Looking For

A high school diploma, GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
The ability to read and understand work instructions.
A commitment to maintaining good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
Willingness to comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.
A dedication to working in a safe and efficient manner.
Reliable, regular attendance.
