As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in expanding market presence by engaging directly with automotive dealerships throughout California. Your primary focus will be initiating in-person conversations with dealership leadership, establishing trust, and identifying opportunities to introduce innovative digital retailing solutions.
What You'll Do
- Conduct field visits to dealerships to prospect for new clients and uncover expansion potential within current accounts
- Engage in cold outreach on-site, building rapport with Owners, General Managers, Sales Leaders, and Finance Directors
- Schedule and support a minimum of 10 qualified product demonstrations weekly
- Capture authentic video testimonials and walkthroughs during visits to support marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to align on target accounts and strategic outreach
- Document all interactions, pipeline activity, and follow-ups in Salesforce
- Continuously refine your approach based on field insights and performance metrics
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity during every client interaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or working within automotive dealerships
- Comfortable initiating unannounced conversations with decision-makers
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly
- Self-directed, organized, and focused on achieving measurable results
- Proficiency using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in automotive sales, BDC, F&I, or as a vendor serving dealerships
- Experience creating short-form video or social content
- Confidence speaking on camera for field-recorded stories
