LKQ Corporation is hiring an Outside Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement records and maintain supplier account details.
  • Plan and schedule daily routes and visits to vendors.
  • Distribute payments to suppliers as required.
  • Seek out and engage potential new suppliers to expand sourcing options.
  • Stay informed about current inventory levels and procurement demands.
  • Build and sustain a reliable network of suppliers to ensure consistent quality and volume of purchases.
  • Communicate directly with management and team members about market trends, competition, and operational scheduling.
  • Collaborate with leadership to negotiate pricing and purchasing agreements.
  • Handle order processing and ongoing supplier relationship management as needed.
  • Inspect items to confirm ownership and attach supporting documentation such as titles or certificates.
  • Load purchased goods onto transport vehicles or coordinate shipment, verify the purchase manifest, and ensure documentation is accurate.
  • Arrange for product delivery and oversee unloading procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Compensation

$25 per hour
