Semgrep is hiring an Outbound Sales Development Representative (APAC) to directly grow our sales pipeline by prospecting into new accounts. You will maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers while partnering with Marketing and Account Executives to initiate new customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Follow standardized processes to generate interest, qualify, and convert a high volume of marketing leads.
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
- Achieve and exceed quota, territory revenue, and growth objectives.
- Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to assigned Account Executives.
- Identify and analyze target prospects based on market, firmographic, and product signals.
- Utilize sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Outreach for prospecting.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders within target accounts.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in a quota-based Sales or Business Development role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who can learn and follow processes in a fast-paced sales organization.
- A growth mindset and ability to act on feedback quickly.
- Strong organization and time-management skills to handle hundreds of prospects simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- A technical or engineering degree or related experience.
- Experience driving enterprise demand for a freemium, bottoms-up, or open source business.

You will collaborate closely with the Account Executive team and partner with Marketing and Account Executives.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $65,000-$73,000 USD plus equity as part of our compensation philosophy.
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Singapore or Australia.
