Affect is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our mission-driven team. This full-time, remote position involves providing evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in a fully virtual setting. You will lead member care alongside a multidisciplinary team of counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers.
What You'll Do
- Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations
- Diagnose and treat substance use and mental health conditions
- Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate
- Complete timely documentation in our EHR
- Collaborate with your care team and attend scheduled team meetings
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in Oregon (and state of residence, if different)
- Active DEA registration with experience prescribing Suboxone
- Comfort working independently in a virtual environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Empathy and commitment to serving individuals with behavioral health challenges
Nice to Have
- At least 2 years of PMHNP experience preferred (addiction or behavioral health strongly preferred; strong relevant experience considered)
- Medicaid enrollment preferred
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure (cost covered by Affect)
