Affect is seeking a Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Counselor to deliver high-quality virtual care. In this remote role, you will support recovery and promote wellness for Members across Oregon, helping to build a modern and accessible addiction care system.
What You'll Do
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate Member readiness and determine appropriate level of care.
- Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.
- Provide crisis support and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors on individualized treatment and discharge planning.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant Oregon state regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Active and verifiable Oregon counseling license: CADC-R, CADC-I, CADC-II, CADC-III, plus LCSW, LMFT, or LPC. Note: MH license holders need 120 hours of training prior to start.
- Licensed in your state of residence.
- All credentials must be verifiable through the State Board’s website as part of the application process.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup.
- A private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet.

- Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000
