ALDO Group is hiring an Operator Telecom Construction Equipment to play a key role in connecting communities. In this position, you will operate a variety of equipment used in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities, performing essential work in all weather conditions while ensuring site safety and restoration.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate drill equipment on the jobsite, which may include Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), and Vacuum Truck/Trailer.
- Restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite.
- Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
- Be responsible for the site set-up and clean-up.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on the truck.
- Participate in new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to starting construction.
- Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, safety barriers, and at times flagging traffic.
- Perform work in all weather conditions.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- Able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
- Valid standard Driver's License or a Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement.
- An MVR record deemed acceptable by the company.
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
- Regular and timely attendance, an essential function of this position.
Nice to Have
- Experience running heavy equipment.
- Experience with drill set up and design processes.
- Able to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.
- Previous construction or utility construction experience.
