At Bombardier, we design, build, and maintain the world's peak-performing aircraft for discerning clients globally. We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to supervise aircraft maintenance operations, ensure safety compliance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within our Wichita Service Center repair station environment.
What You'll Do
- Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a comprehensive safety and security program.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities including performance and development management, timekeeping, hiring, and dismissals.
- Coordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc aircraft maintenance.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with Repair Station and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiencies.
- Engage with customers regarding aircraft maintenance when required.
- Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage database and reporting to ensure labor efficiency aligns with work orders.
What We're Looking For
- Typically 3 years of experience performing aircraft heavy or line maintenance and inspection procedures.
- Possession of a valid A&P certificate or certification under FAR Part 65.
- Familiarity with aircraft inspection systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations.

- Demonstrated effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
