Lead and optimize field operations for real-world data capture initiatives, ensuring every launch runs efficiently and safely. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end planning—coordinating schedules, site access, equipment logistics, and team readiness—across industrial and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute launch plans, accounting for site-specific constraints, shift structures, and shipping timelines
- Manage all hardware logistics: from device setup and labeling to SSD handling, charging, and backup systems
- Establish and oversee the onsite command center, ensuring gear is tested, charged, and ready for daily workflows
- Train groups of 15–25 workers in equipment use, safety protocols, and data capture procedures
- Respond calmly and effectively to real-time technical or operational issues, escalating to remote support when necessary
- Track progress during captures, manage data flow, and proactively resolve emerging challenges
- Develop and improve checklists, SOPs, and post-event reports to make future deployments more efficient
- Document lessons learned—what failed, what succeeded, and how to adapt for the next location
- Work remotely between field assignments, supporting planning and process development
What We’re Looking For
You’re highly organized, resilient under pressure, and skilled at building trust across teams—from site managers to frontline workers. You thrive in fast-moving environments and take pride in meticulous execution.
- 2+ years in startup operations, field logistics, or marketplace roles
- Proven ability to manage complex workflows and follow through with precision
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead training sessions in real-world settings
- Comfortable working on your feet, handling equipment, and adapting to variable conditions
- Willingness to travel frequently—typically 3–4 trips per month or more
- Experience building operational playbooks or training programs is a plus
- Familiarity with hardware setup or device management workflows is beneficial
Why This Matters
You’re helping build foundational systems for physical AI. Every process you refine contributes directly to training smarter, more capable robotics platforms. This is early-stage work with high ownership—your impact will shape how the company scales.
