Hims & Hers is looking for an Operations Manager (Days) to be a key stakeholder in building our fulfillment operations from the ground up. You’ll oversee and drive all warehouse activities and employees across multiple growing shifts, ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical and over-the-counter products.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training in all warehouse functional areas, including order handling, wave management, shipping, and material handling.
- Lead a team of area managers and warehouse personnel, fostering continuous improvement through mentorship and training.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of multiple interacting fulfillment systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure the team has the necessary tools and products to complete responsibilities.
- Establish and maintain coordination of activities and information sharing with all internal warehouse departments and external partners.
- Create and maintain a safe work environment compliant with all applicable federal and state laws (FDA, OSHA).
- Expand operations to multiple shifts to maximize throughput while maintaining company culture.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and content by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Implement and manage all warehouse inventory processes including reconciliation, loss prevention, and control.
- Implement and maintain all Quality Assurance/Control policies and procedures.
- Constantly seek ways to improve efficiency, quality, and cost control.
- Submit accurate and timely reports, attend meetings, and drive company OKRs and KPIs.
- Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of working experience in a Fulfillment, Warehouse, or Distribution environment.
- 7+ years in a Supervisory/Management role.
- 2+ years of OSHA safety experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience leading technically complex projects.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train and manage others.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Six Sigma/Lean Principle experience.
- Proficient knowledge of personal computers and applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Docs and Gmail, and WMS/WCS systems.
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership, team building, organizational and interpersonal skills with proven ability to exercise accurate judgement.
