Engineer based in Västerås, Sweden, supporting a new production setup through reliable integration of IT and operational technology systems.. Responsible for both daily operational support and long-term development of factory IT/OT infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support on IT matters, ranging from immediate troubleshooting to strategic planning.
- Ensure secure communication and data exchange between IT and OT systems.
- Handle routine IT operations including software updates and procurement of equipment.
- Maintain a stable IT environment to reduce disruptions in production.
- Assist with minor equipment repairs and coordinate technical support with external suppliers.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a factory IT/OT or similar technical operations role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and how they interact with operational environments.
Nice to Have
- Interest in working directly alongside production machinery and operational teams.
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate in Swedish is an advantage.
