What You'll Do
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, ensuring reliable operation across diverse environments. Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose complex system issues, and execute precise repairs or replacements of components, controls, and wiring.
Use advanced tools and methods to perform pipefitting and brazing on both chiller (CATI) and non-chiller (CATII) systems. Independently verify equipment functionality during installation and warranty service, applying logic and technical knowledge to resolve performance issues.
Program and configure control systems using touchscreens and computers, including downloading software into microcontrollers. Analyze operational data trends to optimize system efficiency and support long-term reliability.
Interact directly with building owners and facility staff, explaining technical details in clear terms and advising on proper equipment use and maintenance schedules. Prepare wiring diagrams and maintain accurate service records for each job.
Communicate findings and improvement opportunities to internal teams, including potential service upgrades. Follow strict safety protocols, complete hazard assessments, and wear required protective gear on every site visit.
