Celestica is looking for an Operations Engineering Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals. A primary focus will be managing the Engineering Change (EC) process, ensuring seamless implementation of changes from both customers and internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Analyze customer change requests from Matrix ECs to determine site impact.
- Decide the disposition for released ECs and monitor system updates for HALB and FERT items.
- Process all internal and external Engineering Change Notice requests and coordinate activities with Work Cell staff.
- Bridge Matrix ECs in SAP based on depletion dates and verify accuracy.
- Maintain Bill of Materials routing and component allocation to ensure 100% BOM accuracy.
- Update SAP for Approved Vendor List, new part numbers, and technical drawings.
- Refresh routing for all Manufacturing Information Package releases.
- Maintain input placement for planning assembly releases based on engineering decisions.
- Chair weekly customer ECO meetings and coordinate daily/weekly Change Control Board meetings.
- Resolve system issues and liaise with IT support for BOM-related problems.
- Support project enhancements such as EC EtQ, Auto Sort strings, and other automated processes.
- Comply with additional assignments from supervisors.
What We're Looking For
- Entry-level to 1 year of experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Senai for the duration of the one-year contract.
