Newhaul Port Logistics is hiring an Operations & Camp Supervisor to lead frontline operations and people management at our Ruvidini site in Mullewa. This role is responsible for ensuring operational continuity, safety, and workforce wellbeing in a remote environment, including hands-on support for loader operators.
What You'll Do
- Motivate and guide loader operators and drivers to maintain a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Be a consistent onsite presence and provide support to remote personnel.
- Coordinate roster planning, leave, and fatigue management.
- Address performance concerns early through collaboration with HR and site leadership.
- Work closely with your rostered counterpart to provide consistent leadership.
- Take ownership across rosters to ensure continuity and avoid unresolved handovers.
- Build trust and maintain strong engagement with loader operators.
- Help troubleshoot issues, coordinate maintenance, and ensure standards are met.
- Step in to operate loaders when required to support the team.
- Oversee daily site operations, yard standards, and changeover areas.
- Support camp wellbeing by ensuring issues are addressed and induction processes are followed.
- Maintain a high standard of site presentation and signage.
- Ensure compliance with fatigue laws, WAHVA, and Newhaul policies.
- Lead by example in safety, encouraging proactive hazard reporting.
- Complete operational reporting including daily/weekly KPIs and hazards.
What We're Looking For
- A current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the transport or logistics industry is highly regarded.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- A current MC licence and front-end loader ticket are desirable.
