About the Role

Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is hiring an Operations Analyst to serve as a primary analytic resource for patient care. In this role, you will work collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to monitor, analyze, and improve performance through data.

What You'll Do

  • Obtain, analyze, and interpret financial, quality, and operational data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Maintain accurate analytical documentation and operational dashboards.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for management to understand key issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments on budgeting, variance analysis, and achieving budget targets.
  • Participate in monthly budget variance reporting and support budget preparation.
  • Identify, develop, and assist in implementing key metrics to measure process performance.
  • Provide quality control to ensure 100% accuracy and integrity of all reported data.
  • Train and develop staff on reports, systems, and data interpretation.
  • Lead efforts to identify and resolve data issues with end users.
  • Manage one low to medium risk project at a time, preparing time estimates and monitoring progress.
  • Analyze information to ensure greater integration of functions within the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or analytics.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent PC-based skills using Microsoft Products, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in healthcare.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Data Bricks, SQL, or Python.
  • Coding experience.
