Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is hiring an Operations Analyst to serve as a primary analytic resource for patient care. In this role, you will work collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to monitor, analyze, and improve performance through data.
What You'll Do
- Obtain, analyze, and interpret financial, quality, and operational data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Maintain accurate analytical documentation and operational dashboards.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for management to understand key issues.
- Collaborate with other departments on budgeting, variance analysis, and achieving budget targets.
- Participate in monthly budget variance reporting and support budget preparation.
- Identify, develop, and assist in implementing key metrics to measure process performance.
- Provide quality control to ensure 100% accuracy and integrity of all reported data.
- Train and develop staff on reports, systems, and data interpretation.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve data issues with end users.
- Manage one low to medium risk project at a time, preparing time estimates and monitoring progress.
- Analyze information to ensure greater integration of functions within the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or analytics.
- 2-3 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent PC-based skills using Microsoft Products, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in healthcare.
- Experience with PowerBI, Data Bricks, SQL, or Python.
- Coding experience.
