The Operations Analyst (Legal & Compliance) will play a critical role in maintaining legal compliance, protecting intellectual property, and driving process improvements using AI and automation at Jerry.ai, a fast-growing startup in the car ownership space. This is a high-impact role for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape legal operations at the intersection of law, technology, and product.
What You'll Do
- Own Entity Compliance: Be the point person for keeping corporate entities in 'Good Standing' across the US and Canada by handling reports and state requests independently.
- Protect the Brand: Monitor intellectual property presence, identify infringements, and draft and initiate cease-and-desist workflows.
- Investigate & Educate: Serve as the first line of defense for complex consumer escalations by investigating root causes, proposing strategic solutions, and leading compliance training initiatives.
- Drive Product & Process Improvements: Review product and operational processes for compliance, identify user friction or compliance risks, and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to implement systemic fixes.
- Run Tight Audits: Lead compliance audits across operations, proactively monitor key risk areas, and ensure practices exceed regulatory standards to set industry benchmarks.
- Automate Everything: Use AI and low-code tools to convert manual legal tasks into scalable, automated workflows that reduce manual effort.
