FourLeaf Federal Credit Union is hiring an Operational Risk Analyst

As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in advancing the credit union’s enterprise risk management strategy. You’ll collaborate with leadership and department heads to evaluate operational processes, assess control effectiveness, and support the ongoing development of risk mitigation practices across all business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and maintenance of the Operational Risk Program, including risk assessments, control evaluations, and policy documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify, analyze, and rate operational risks, ensuring appropriate controls are in place and functioning as intended.
  • Facilitate risk assessment activities across departments and contribute to the ongoing refinement of risk and control frameworks.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Manage the Reportable Events program by collecting data, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting follow-up actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, committees, and governance bodies, summarizing risk trends and mitigation efforts.
  • Assist in audits, examinations, and special projects, providing risk insights and documentation as needed.
  • Develop training materials and guidance to promote risk awareness and strengthen organizational risk culture.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, along with 1–3 years of experience in risk, compliance, or audit within a financial services environment. Familiarity with risk frameworks such as COSO, ISO31000, or Basel II is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and GRC platforms is expected.

Preferred candidates will have studied business, risk management, or a related field, and possess working knowledge of credit union or banking operations.
