Cannondale Logo is hiring an Operational Buyer to execute the material requirements planning process and serve as the key point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will collaborate daily with Assembly, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Warehousing, and Product Management to keep production aligned.
What You'll Do
- Validate order proposals and process Purchase Orders on time
- Manage open orders and resolve exception notices
- Work proactively with Suppliers and Planning on any supply–demand gaps
- Create and send monthly forecasts to suppliers
- Monitor inventory and act quickly on excess or obsolete materials
- Flag and support improvements to lead times, pricing, and payment terms
- Ensure correct cost prices in the system and flag major deviations to Finance
- Maintain accurate material master data and vendor settings
- Measure vendor performance (OTD PO) and communicate any issues internally and externally
- Perform standard and ad hoc procurement analyses, and share relevant supplier information across the organization
- Review and improve material requirements planning processes with stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, commercial economics, supply chain, or logistics
- Must be fluent in English both written and verbal
- Supply Chain knowledge
- Proficiency with an ERP system (SAP preferred)
Nice to Have
- A few years of experience in a purchasing role is a big plus
