Novo Nordisk is looking for an Open Rank Scientist - Biomolecular Technologies to be a field expert responsible for generating protein and peptide compounds to enable target discovery in cardiometabolic diseases and project progression. What You'll Do
- Generate protein and peptide compounds to enable target discovery in cardiometabolic diseases and project progression up to the G0 milestone.
- Collaborate with and supervise Tech Scientists and Research Associates to advance relevant technology platforms and deliver project milestones.
- Act as a technology coordinator and project manager in a global matrix organization.
- Drive technology innovation in protein and peptide chemistry.
- Build a strong scientific network within protein and peptide chemistry with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in protein and peptide engineering, production, and quality control.
- Industrial experience in therapeutic protein and peptide discovery and development.
- Outstanding track record of creativity, independence, and scientific accomplishments in protein and peptide chemistry.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a global setting.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global setting.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
Nice to Have
- AI-assisted molecule design experience is a strong plus.
- Experience in small molecule chemistry and design principles is an advantage.
