Brutus and Barnaby is hiring its first dedicated technical hire: a Data & Systems Lead for Onform Finance. You will build and lead the data and engineering function, creating scalable, automated processes and defining the technical infrastructure for finance services and e-commerce operations.
What You'll Do
- Establish data infrastructure by designing and building an internal data warehouse and reporting engine to consolidate data streams
- Automate workflows and processes using low-code/no-code tools like Airtable and Zapier
- Implement and manage e-commerce systems, including inventory management across two warehouse locations
- Standardise, segment, and secure client financial data while building reliable data management solutions
- Translate business and financial requirements into technical solutions and guide implementation
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with Xero API integration
- Experience with the Shopify platform and ecosystem apps
- Expertise in Google Sheets API for automation and reporting
Nice to Have
- Strong proficiency with low-code/no-code platforms (Airtable, Zapier)
- Familiarity with AI tools in modern engineering environments
- Experience building customer-facing dashboards that combine multiple data sources
