Role Overview
As a Credit Specialist, you will oversee credit evaluations for a designated group of stations, ensuring accurate and timely assessments of financial risk. You will analyze business credit data, establish credit limits, and support decision-making for credit terms. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity while enabling smooth operations across markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage credit profiles for assigned stations, including updates and new requests submitted through MDM
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from a shared email queue
- Process credit applications using DNBi and verify financial information
- Review and release cash-in-advance orders upon payment confirmation
- Analyze financial data to assess customer capability, risk level, and appropriate credit limits
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the accuracy and reliability of credit risk data
- Communicate with station staff and sales representatives to provide guidance on credit decisions
- Recommend suitable credit terms based on risk analysis
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to management when necessary
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in credit evaluation or data management within a fast-paced setting
- Proven experience in business credit analysis and risk assessment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and prioritize urgent accounts
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks without direct supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience coordinating remote meetings with sales and finance teams
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including data export and formatting
- High level of customer service orientation when working with internal and external stakeholders
- Positive, collaborative approach to teamwork
Preferred Background
- Associate degree in Business or related field preferred

- Experience with MDM and DNBi platforms
- Regular use of Excel for data handling and reporting
