About the Role

As a Junior FinOps Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and transparency of financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage end-to-end reconciliation workflows, ensuring transaction data is accurately recorded, traceable, and aligned with compliance standards across multiple markets.

What You'll Do

  • Run and supervise reconciliation procedures for financial transactions, verifying completeness and adherence to audit requirements.
  • Analyze automated reconciliation reports, detect variances, and investigate root causes of discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other teams to resolve issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor ongoing financial data flows to maintain accuracy, compliance, and operational stability.
  • Support audit activities by preparing clear, well-documented evidence and process trails.
  • Propose and contribute to improvements in automation, efficiency, and control frameworks within FinOps.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial operations, reconciliations, audit support, or related roles, preferably in fintech or multinational settings.
  • Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and experience handling large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis, reporting, and data validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems systematically and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, adapt to evolving priorities, and work independently under deadlines.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in regulated or audit-intensive environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL or business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Looker.
  • Experience working with global or cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to payments, settlements, or high-throughput financial systems.
