Sanofi/Genzyme is looking for an Oncology Area Business Manager to drive sales objectives for our oncology portfolio in Mississippi. You'll build and maintain key customer relationships, develop strategic territory plans, and effectively promote our treatments to make a real impact on patients.
What You'll Do
- Develop and utilize a quarterly business plan aligned with marketing strategies through territory analysis and customer insights.
- Implement business plans by leveraging all appropriate resources with Hematologists, Oncologists, and other key customers.
- Communicate and position product information to promote the appropriate use of the Sanofi Genzyme oncology portfolio.
- Work closely with field partners, including the Oncology Transplant Network Manager and other ABMs, to pull through strategies from key accounts.
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates, and expense reports, operating within all Pharma compliance guidelines.
- Implement effective account targeting and time management tactics.
- Attend required training sessions, conventions, and symposia.
- Complete all fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree from an accredited school.
- Minimum two years of Oncology/Hematology sales experience OR one year of previous Sanofi Oncology/Transplant sales experience.
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive a company car in a safe manner to daily meetings and appointments.
- Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Nice to Have
- Focus in business or life science.
- Up to 2 years of successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or bio-tech products.
- Working knowledge of and familiarity with the hospital and cancer center environment.
Team & Environment
Works closely with all field partners, including the Oncology Transplant Network Manager (ONM), other Sanofi-Genzyme ABMs, and Medical teams.
