Oversee the complete lifecycle of datacenter assets at a large-scale facility, ensuring seamless movement and precise tracking of hardware from arrival to retirement. This role is central to maintaining operational efficiency, inventory integrity, and supply chain continuity in a high-throughput technical environment.
What You'll Do
- Track all equipment throughout its lifecycle, applying consistent identification methods and entering accurate data into management systems
- Supervise incoming and outgoing shipments, confirming quantities and condition while updating records immediately
- Conduct routine audits and physical inventory checks to sustain accuracy above 99%, identifying and correcting discrepancies quickly
- Support technical teams by fulfilling parts requests efficiently and organizing materials in designated staging zones
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage returns, warranty claims, and replacements, while arranging access for external personnel
- Produce regular reports on inventory performance, turnover rates, and potential obsolescence to inform planning and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business
- Minimum of three years in logistics, inventory, or warehouse operations within technology or manufacturing sectors
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, or similar analytical tools for generating insights from data
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at hyperscale datacenter providers or major colocation facilities
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, asset tracking databases, and inventory management systems
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, storage, and networking hardware
- Demonstrated organizational ability, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication skills
