As an Office IT Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting internal teams by resolving everyday technical challenges and ensuring smooth IT operations. You'll serve as the first point of contact for employee tech issues, working to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently while documenting solutions for future reference.
What You'll Do
- Provide frontline technical support to employees across departments
- Set up and configure laptops for new hires, ensuring devices are ready for use
- Manage hardware logistics, including inventory tracking and equipment distribution
- Support onboarding by creating accounts and setting up systems for new team members
- Handle offboarding tasks such as retrieving equipment and deactivating accounts
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Maintain clear, up-to-date records of all processes and technical procedures
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Dutch university
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping others
- Detail-oriented approach to tasks and documentation
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and ask questions
- Basic understanding of technical concepts and troubleshooting methods
- Ability to independently find information to support problem-solving
- Fluent in English
- Comfortable sharing knowledge and guiding others through solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Apple laptops
- Proficiency in Dutch
- Additional language skills
