Responsibilities
- Lead projects from the "Kick-off" phase to "Go-Live," following Odoo implementation methodologies (Quickstart or custom Agile methodologies).
- Conduct workshops with client stakeholders to understand their business processes and translate them into Odoo standard features.
- Create functional blueprints and define workflows that cover the client's operational needs (Sales, Inventory, Purchase) while ensuring data integrity.
- Identify areas where standard Odoo features fall short and propose functional workarounds or define clear requirements for the technical team (if development is strictly necessary).
- Lead the configuration of the Chart of Accounts, Journals, Tax Rules, and Fiscal Positions tailored to the client's localization.
- Optimize and configure critical financial processes such as Bank Reconciliation models, Asset Management, and Deferred Revenues/Expenses.
- Design cost center structures and analytic distribution to provide clients with granular profitability analysis.
- Configure dynamic Financial Reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and executive dashboards within Odoo.
- Ensure correct integration between Operations and Finance. You must ensure that Stock Valuation (Inventory), Invoicing (Sales/Purchase), and Landed Costs generate the correct Journal Entries automatically.
- Supervise the import of master data (Partners, Products) and critical financial data (Opening Balances, Aged Receivables/Payables).
- Deliver training sessions specifically tailored for distinct audiences (e.g., teaching "Sales" to the Sales Team and "Reconciliation" to the CFO).
- Assist the client during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase and provide functional support during the critical first weeks after Go-Live.
