About the Role

Adventist Health, a faith-based nonprofit health system with a mission of living God's love by inspiring health, wholeness, and hope, is hiring an Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. You will serve as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups while meeting department objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas requiring attention.
  • Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.
  • Establish individualized care and discharge plans and ensure plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
  • Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
  • Supervise assigned assistants.

What We're Looking For

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) (if license was obtained on or after January 2007).
  • Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification.

Nice to Have

  • Two years of occupational therapy experience.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position located in Fort Bragg, Mendocino County, CA.
