Responsibilities
- Resolve daily system malfunctions to achieve uptime objectives.
- Monitor hourly production targets and implement corrective measures if goals are at risk.
- Execute scheduled maintenance and assess when to escalate issues to management.
- Detect potential system faults and recommend improvements or fixes.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to enhance system performance and reduce costs.
- Communicate across departments to resolve plant issues effectively.
- Complete CMMS work orders fully and review events and warranty claims.
- Diagnose problems in inverters, switchgear, transformers, and other equipment.
- Train operators on machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Create standard operating procedures for maintenance and operations.
- Support commissioning and testing with technical expertise.
- Coordinate on-site planning, installation, commissioning, and quality checks.
- Participate in assigned safety, environmental, and other training sessions.
- Follow all health, safety, and company policy guidelines.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in renewable energy such as solar or wind.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical machinery and equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Strong safety background with knowledge of Lockout Tag Out and Job Hazard Analysis.
- Positive team attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours, including nights and weekends, for emergencies.
- Willingness to travel; all current project sites are in Sicily, Italy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Deep knowledge of local regulations for operating PV sites.
- Valid driver's license.

On-site — Prairie Mist, Ashley County, ARK
Other
- Must be willing to work outside normal daytime hours of 8am to 5:00pm (plus nights and weekends) responding to emergency service or project equipment issues.
- Must be willing to travel; currently all project locations are within Sicily (Italy).
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
