About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner will provide remote clinical care to patients, using telehealth platforms to assess, diagnose, and manage conditions. Emphasis is placed on continuity of care, patient education, and adherence to clinical protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations using secure telehealth systems
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Document patient encounters in electronic health records
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers for coordinated care
- Educate patients on disease prevention and health promotion
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA rules

- Additional certification in a clinical specialty
