Boulder Care is looking for a Nurse Practitioner – Addiction Medicine to provide fully virtual, evidence-based care for opioid use disorder. You'll work directly with patients in a structured, remote environment, supporting recovery in alignment with harm reduction principles.
What You'll Do

- Prescribe buprenorphine-based medications, including initiating care
What We're Looking For
- Reside in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CO, FL, ID, KS, MD, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, WA, WY
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in state of residence (Florida requires AP designation)
- At least 1 year of experience in an independent, outpatient setting regularly prescribing buprenorphine-based medications, including initiating care
- Interest in full-time work: 30-40 hours/week, with shifts ending at 6pm local time
- Strong patient-centered practice and ability to work autonomously
- Private workspace with HIPAA-compliant setup
Team & Environment
You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary Care Team and have access to an NP Supervisor during your shifts.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $130k–$140k (up to $145k in select high-cost markets); pro-rated for less than 40 hours per week
- W2 employment with health, dental, and vision coverage (Boulder covers up to 100% for individuals, 60% for dependents)
- PTO: 4 weeks/year (5 weeks after 2 years), plus 9 paid holidays
- 12 weeks fully paid parental leave (after 6 months)
- Licensing/waiver coverage and hardware provided
