Responsibilities
- Deliver medical case management for workers' compensation claims
- Coordinate care with physicians, healthcare providers, employers, adjusters, attorneys, and insurance carriers
- Assess treatment plans for medical necessity, appropriateness, and cost-effectiveness
- Attend medical appointments and provide updates to all relevant parties
- Arrange Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) and job site assessments when required
- Track injured worker progress and aid in return-to-work planning
- Keep accurate and timely case documentation and reports
