Latitude AI is looking for a Nomadic Mission Operator to join our Fleet Operations team. We are reimagining the driving experience to make travel safer, less stressful, and more enjoyable for everyone. In this role, you will drive test vehicles on multi-day missions across multiple states, collecting crucial data and facilitating its transfer.
What You'll Do
- Drive test vehicles across multiple states on multi-day missions to collect data and facilitate its transfer.
- Operate on a 6-day, up to 60-hour workweek schedule, working 3 weeks on followed by 1 week off.
- Perform daily start-up, system engagement/disengagement, and shutdown procedures for development vehicles.
- Actively monitor and troubleshoot both software and hardware systems while on the road.
- Execute data collection in accordance with strict safety and compliance protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports on system performance and data collection achievements.
- Represent the organization professionally and responsibly while driving, prioritizing the safety of all road users.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two years of employment experience.
- A valid driver’s license in your state of residence and ability to meet our minimum driving record requirements, verified by background checks.
- An active passport or passport card.
- Ability to pass ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks prior to and during employment.
- Comfort spending long hours driving and working in close quarters while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong interest in technology, adapting quickly to challenges and changes.
- Technical proficiency with computers, including typing, checking network connections, and using web-based applications.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for software and hardware issues.
- Contributes to a positive work environment with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Thrives autonomously or with limited oversight.
- A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Curiosity and excitement about learning new technologies.
Nice to Have
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Prior experience in technical driving, fleet operations, or vehicle testing where compliance was crucial.
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics and data logging tools.
- Familiarity with work management tools like Jira, Slack, or Driver Schedule.

Work Mode
This is an onsite role requiring travel and work across multiple states.
