ProVal Technologies is hiring a NOC Engineer to join our team as an immediate joiner. You will be responsible for monitoring network and server alerts using NOC tools, performing L1 troubleshooting, and managing security devices as part of our 24x7 shift operations.
What You'll Do
- Monitor network and server alerts using NOC tools (24x7 shift support)
- Perform L1 troubleshooting for network, firewall, and Windows server related incidents
- Monitor and manage firewalls, VPNs, and security devices
- Respond to alerts related to firewall health & traffic, network latency, packet loss, outages, and security threats
- Execute basic firewall tasks including rule validation and implementation (as per SOP) and VPN monitoring
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation
- Follow incident, problem, and change management processes
- Maintain accurate ticket updates and shift handover notes
- Ensure SLA adherence and timely incident resolution
- Support routine checks, backups, and compliance monitoring
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Any Technical Graduate
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, NAT
- Hands-on exposure to firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA / Firepower
- Understanding of firewall rules & policies, IDS/IPS concepts, VPN (Site-to-Site & Remote Access), and network security fundamentals
