About the Role

Peachtree Group is looking for a Night Auditor to ensure the accuracy of the hotel’s daily financial transactions while providing excellent service to guests during overnight hours. You will be the primary point of contact for all front desk operations while conducting critical end-of-day accounting procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct all nightly audit-related duties and provide guest service at the front desk.
  • Balance accounts, complete daily paperwork, and prepare accurate shift reports.
  • Attend to guest needs including check-ins, check-outs, making reservations, and answering questions.
  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to arriving guests and process registrations, including collecting payment.
  • Prepare express checkout folios and maintain an accurate room status inventory.
  • Count cash and maintain the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Think proactively, maintain guest security, and create a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
  • Check the front desk log for problems and special requests.
  • Communicate all pertinent shift information to the Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.
  • Communicate all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and local directions, and explain in-room and hotel features.
  • Maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed.
  • Complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
