What You'll Do
- Apply critical thinking and evidence-based clinical criteria for services requiring precertification
- Collect and review clinical information from providers, primarily at a desk and on the phone
- Use specific criteria to authorize procedures and services
- Initiate a Medical Director referral as clinically necessary
What We're Looking For
- Must have active, current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence
- 3+ years of clinical experience
- Willing and able to work Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm CST with occasional weekend/holiday on-call
- Proficiency with computer skills, including navigating multiple systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- NICU clinical experience for 3+ years
Nice to Have
- UM experience for 2+ years
