Bloomberg is hiring a News Producer for its live television network in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for producing eight hours of live weekday programming from the Asia and Middle East regions while also contributing to global news coverage. You will report directly to the Asia Senior Producer.

What You'll Do

Produce live television shows and thrive under the pressure of the control room environment.
Select markets, finance, economics, and policy stories important to clients using strong news judgement.
Write and produce news segments, including building video and graphics elements and conceptualizing ways to present data on-air.
Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and a passion for programming and content.
Be a team-player with strong communication skills to work with a global team across Asia-Pacific, U.S. and EMEA.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of TV newsroom and control room experience in a continuous news environment.
Proven recent and relevant business news experience.
Strong news judgement with a focus on global business and economics.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization.
Flexibility in working hours, including early starts.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of the region's business environment and financial markets.
Experience in field work or long-form programmes.
