People Inc. is hiring a News & Deals Commerce Editor to join the Commerce News and Deals team for InStyle.com. You’ll be responsible for editing clean, optimized shopping stories at the intersection of beauty, celebrity, and style, moving quickly to keep up with the pace of news.

What You'll Do

Edit at least four shopping stories per day for InStyle, ensuring timely publication and clean copy in the InStyle voice.
Occasionally pitch and write articles with a primary focus on generating affiliate revenue.
Update existing content using style guides, data insights, and editorial judgment.
Use data and analytics to brainstorm and guide content decisions.
Monitor social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram for commerce opportunities, including celebrity recommendations and viral products.
Work collaboratively with writers, editors, and corresponding teams to meet shared objectives.
Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.
