Capgemini is looking for a New Construction Works Engineer to join our team. In this expert consulting role, you will support our pharmaceutical clients through large-scale technical projects, including workshop extensions, equipment installations, utility renovations, and regulatory compliance upgrades. You'll serve as the key interface between Engineering, Quality, HSE, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
What You'll Do
- Lead or contribute to new construction projects: analyzing needs, writing specifications, managing supplier consultations, and overseeing study and execution phases.
- Coordinate on-site work (revamping, utilities, process equipment, HVAC, clean rooms).
- Manage the construction site: safety, scheduling, progress tracking, handling unforeseen issues, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, industrial standards, and HSE rules.
- Participate in technical and regulatory risk analyses (FMEA, HAZOP, prevention plans).
- Supervise commissioning, FAT/SAT, and IQ/OQ/PQ activities in collaboration with QA and validation teams.
- Manage project documentation: protocols, reports, DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ, and DOE.
- Contribute to preparing for audits and inspections related to facilities and equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement of installations and the development of new technical standards.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in engineering: industrial engineering, process engineering, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or equivalent.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in new construction or technical projects within the pharmaceutical industry or a highly regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, project constraints in clean areas, and pharmaceutical utilities.
- Proven experience managing technical projects, coordinating construction sites, and managing suppliers.
- Mastery of FAT/SAT stages and qualification/validation cycles.
- Professional-level English.
