About the Role

Klabin is hiring a Network Technical Leader to be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, administration, and evolution of the organization's entire network infrastructure. You will set standards and architecture, ensuring the performance and availability of local, inter-unit, and cloud network services while leading the technical operation and acting as the go-to expert for critical incidents and expansion projects.

What You'll Do

  • Design and maintain the architecture for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and interconnections with data centers, remote units, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • Implement and manage network devices such as switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, and corporate access points
  • Define topologies, network segmentation (VLANs), QoS policies, routing (static and dynamic), and high-availability protocols (VRRP, HSRP, etc.)
  • Act as the technical reference for troubleshooting complex network and performance incidents, leading contingency and mitigation actions
  • Ensure proactive monitoring of network environments using tools like Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, SolarWinds
  • Support the information security team in access control, traffic inspection, and intrusion prevention (IDS/IPS)
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, new units, network restructuring, and integration with cloud or security solutions (VPN, SD-WAN, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain updated documentation for network topology, assets, and technical standards
  • Collaborate with vendors and carriers on contracting, troubleshooting, and link optimization
  • Provide technical leadership for network professionals or outsourced teams, ensuring alignment with organizational standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in network reliability and performance, focusing on resilience, scalability, and security

What We're Looking For

  • Complete higher education in Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or related fields
  • Practical experience in corporate networks within high-criticality, mission-critical environments (hospitals, data centers, industry, etc.)
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting, redundant networks, multiple carriers, load balancing, and security

Nice to Have

  • Network protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, QoS, SNMP, etc.
  • VLANs, trunking, etherchannel, ACLs, dynamic and static routing
  • Next-generation firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.)
  • Corporate Wi-Fi networks with multiple SSIDs and controllers
  • Site-to-site and client-to-site VPNs (IPSec, SSL VPN)
  • Integration with cloud services and hybrid networks (Direct Connect, VPN AWS, Azure ExpressRoute)
  • Network management and automation tools (Ansible, NetBox, scripts with Python/Bash)
  • Network monitoring and traffic analysis (Wireshark, NMAP, NetFlow, etc.)
  • AWS - Associate / Professional / Specialty
  • CCNP or CCIE (Cisco)
  • NSE 4 or higher (Fortinet)
  • JNCIA / JNCIP (Juniper)
  • Certifications in wireless networks, load balancers (F5, A10), or SD-WAN are a plus
  • Technical English for reading documentation, troubleshooting, and contacting manufacturer support

This role works in partnership with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and software engineering teams and provides technical leadership for network professionals or outsourced teams.
