Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary Kft. is hiring a Network System Engineer WAN (REF4907H) to take ownership of critical network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex WAN networks and SD-WAN environments, from initial design and migration planning to implementation and ongoing support.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and support complex WAN networks based on Cisco and Juniper components.
- Develop network and migration concepts from traditional networks to a fabric-based architecture.
- Develop and support SD-WAN environments.
- Perform project work from concept to implementation in WAN environments using dynamic routing protocols.
- Conduct complex analysis of large-scale networks.
- Provide security engineering and consulting services.
- Develop and set up Cloud network designs.
- Plan and select necessary network components for projects.
- Solicit quotations for hardware and software.
- Set up, maintain, and configure individual network components.
- Establish and extract dedicated and shared customer network areas.
- Perform QoS and bandwidth engineering.
- Document and allocate subnets or individual IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
- Provide traffic management solutions.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in EDP technology, natural sciences, or comparable education.
- Proven experience administering large WAN networks and setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Solid knowledge of Fabric design and structure.
- Cisco CCIE or comparable certification.
- Specialized knowledge of Cisco and ACI, Juniper and Apstra (certificates from training are required).
- Reliable knowledge of Load balancers, Firewalls, Radius, Tacacs, and LDAP.
- Experience with Traffic Shaping solutions.
- Experience configuring, maintaining, updating, and securing network and server components.
- Excellent, up-to-date practical knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems.
- Cooperative, task-oriented, and matter-of-fact working style.
- Practical and planning experience with MPLS.
- English language skills in reading and writing.
- Basic knowledge of DWDM.
Nice to Have
- Experience in project support.
- Experience issuing tenders for hardware and software procurement.
