Softheon is looking for a Network Manager to serve as a key technical leader responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of our network infrastructure. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of network engineering, drive innovation, ensure operational excellence, and lead a team of network professionals, all in support of our mission to make healthcare more affordable, accessible, and plentiful.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the network technology roadmap to support current and future business needs.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to modernize and secure network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for large-scale network projects and migrations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and administrators.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network solutions.
- Ensure network architectures are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Oversee advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues.
- Define and enforce network security policies and controls.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network equipment and services.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align network strategy with organizational goals.
- Drive automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with the Talent and Infrastructure leadership teams in interviewing and hiring.
- Be available for on-call duty during peak periods as needed.
- Attend in-person meetings at headquarters approximately 2 times per year.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in network engineering.
- At least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise network architectures.
- Proven track record leading large-scale network projects and migrations.
- Strong background in cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across complex network environments.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Deep expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF).
- Strong proficiency in firewall configuration, VPN technologies, and network security.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) – Must obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) – Must obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700).
- Other relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Juniper, Palo Alto, CISSP, CISM).
