Wipro is looking for a Network Engineer to join our Global Network Project Implementation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Wipro's global LAN and WAN infrastructure, implementing network solutions for new Offshore Development Centers and enterprise clients. You will be part of a team driving forward Wipro's mission of reinvention and digital transformation.
What You'll Do
- Administer and manage Wipro's global LAN and WAN network domain based on assigned projects.
- Implement and configure network devices including routers, switches, NMS tools, and WiFi equipment from manufacturers like Cisco, Avaya, and Brocade.
- Configure devices per security hardening guidelines and specific project requirements.
- Troubleshoot network and security problems within defined project scopes.
- Implement network infrastructure for new Offshore Development Centers (ODCs) with appropriate security and redundancy.
- Implement network infrastructure for new enterprise projects.
- Set up ODC connectivity using MPLS, client-to-site VPN, and site-to-site VPN.
- Handle project movements within Wipro locations, establish point-to-point links, and set up new LAN/WAN/Internet architecture.
- Coordinate with ISPs, clients, and onsite teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN implementations and troubleshooting.
- Validate technical feasibility of network designs from the design team and provide suggestions.
- Execute implementations following ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and Wipro IRMC guidelines.
- Multitask across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Take the lead and participate in Severity 0 calls and outage resolution.
What We're Looking For
- A CCNP equivalent certification.
- Around 5 years of relevant network engineering experience.

- Technologies: MPLS Configuration (VRF Config), Switching Protocols, STP, QoS
