As a National Key Account Manager, you will lead strategic account development for major home improvement retailers across Denmark and Norway. Your focus will be on expanding market presence, optimizing product performance, and managing end-to-end relationships within both DIY and professional retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle account management, from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with long-term commercial goals
- Apply category management strategies to influence product assortment, placement, and promotional planning
- Create and implement seasonal activation plans that boost visibility and sales during peak periods
- Collaborate with shopper marketing and analytics teams to interpret retail data and shopper behavior
- Develop joint business plans with key partners to drive mutual growth and profitability
- Ensure consistent and effective in-store execution of marketing and merchandising initiatives
- Work closely with global teams to align local strategies with broader commercial objectives
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience managing key accounts in home improvement, FMCG retail, or consumer electronics
- Track record of delivering profitable growth and expanding customer portfolios
- Strong grasp of category management principles and their practical application
- Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
- Fluency in Danish and strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience interpreting complex sales data
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce for sales tracking and planning
Preferred Background
- Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Training in structured negotiation methods such as GAP Negotiation
- Ability to speak Norwegian is a plus

This role is based locally in Denmark and Norway, with up to 25% travel expected across both countries.
