Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across the facility efficiently
- Install and commission new or repaired machinery and equipment
- Support manufacturing teams with machine adjustments, changeovers, and setup procedures
- Improve machine performance and reduce operational downtime while aiding continuous improvement efforts
- Use the CMMS system daily as required for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Report equipment breakdowns on a daily basis
- Carry out all assigned preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Prioritize repair tasks according to business-critical needs
- Conduct root cause analysis using FMECA methodologies to understand equipment failures
- Assist and coordinate with external contractors during maintenance or installation activities
- Provide technical assistance to production teams when needed
- Uphold strict housekeeping standards by following a clean-as-you-go approach
- Ensure all documentation and CMMS entries meet high standards of clarity and accuracy
- Support the development and execution of capital projects
- Promote and contribute to continuous improvement culture within engineering and production teams
