Responsibilities
- Compute Knock Bridge Loan advance amounts using internal formulas and guidelines.
- Condition loan files correctly based on the application and supporting documents.
- Provide consistent internal updates on loan status and approval progress.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with external Lending Partners, Agents, and Borrowers.
- Examine title reports and homeowners/flood insurance to protect Knock's lien position and security interest.
- Manage and process a daily loan pipeline efficiently while meeting company turnaround times.
- Stay current with all company policies, procedures, industry regulations, and changes affecting Knock and the industry.
- Continuously learn and grow while mentoring others within and beyond your team.
- Handle ad-hoc projects as needed and proactively support the team wherever help is required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor or Junior Underwriter with solid knowledge of underwriting processes and lending systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills to interpret and apply lending guidelines effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a natural over-communicator.
- Proven efficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Quick learner with the ability to adopt new technologies and enhance skills through self-learning, research, and asking the right questions.
- Passion for real estate disruption and excitement to make a meaningful impact in people's lives.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing growth environment and confidently share new ideas.
- Strong knowledge of various loan products, credit reports, and debt-to-income ratios.
- Demonstrated success working 100% remotely and collaborating with a distributed national team.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Compensation
$70,000 USD base salary plus incentive plan (bonus); on-target earnings (OTE) are $97,000 USD, performance-based and not guaranteed.
