SONDA is hiring a Monitoring Technician to play a key role in safeguarding our clients' technological services. You will be responsible for the constant supervision of infrastructure, ensuring its availability and stability while collaborating with technical teams to resolve incidents.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the continuity of technological services through constant infrastructure supervision, guaranteeing availability and stability at all times.
- Monitor and track networks, servers, telecommunications, and critical platforms to maintain their proper functioning.
- Use monitoring tools to detect alerts, outages, or service degradations and act proactively.
- Register, categorize, prioritize, and track incidents and requests, ensuring appropriate response times.
- Coordinate with L2, L3 teams, or external vendors when an incident requires greater technical specialization.
- Organize 24x7 schedules, distribute workload, and ensure continuous operational coverage.
- Supervise metrics such as response times, resolution, and availability, ensuring contractual compliance.
- Keep the knowledge base and incident response protocols updated.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Networks, or related fields.
- Knowledge of incident management, requirements, and SLA compliance.
- Experience in 24x7 infrastructure monitoring.
- Knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN, VPN).
- Analysis of KPIs (MTTR, availability, response times).
Nice to Have
- Desirable certifications: ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, Azure, AWS, or similar.
- 1 to 2 years leading teams (desirable).
