Remote is hiring a Mobility Specialist - APAC

About the Role

This position manages mobility processes for employees across the APAC region, ensuring smooth transitions during relocations and assignments while adhering to local regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee relocations across multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Ensure compliance with local immigration and employment laws
  • Manage documentation for cross-border assignments
  • Support relocation logistics including housing and travel arrangements
  • Act as a point of contact for employees undergoing mobility transitions
  • Track mobility timelines and ensure timely execution
  • Collaborate with HR teams to align mobility plans with talent strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of employee assignments and visa statuses
  • Assist with pre-departure briefings and cultural orientation
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting international assignments
  • Provide guidance on tax implications of cross-border work
  • Work with external vendors to deliver relocation services
  • Ensure policy adherence across all mobility activities
  • Support data reporting for mobility metrics and trends
  • Address employee inquiries related to relocation processes
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management during transitions
  • Evaluate mobility service providers for quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Assist in developing mobility guidelines tailored to APAC markets
  • Manage onboarding for incoming international assignees
  • Support repatriation processes for returning employees
  • Ensure data privacy in handling employee relocation records
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of mobility workflows
  • Promote equity and consistency in mobility practices
  • Stay updated on global mobility trends and best practices
  • Escalate complex cases to senior mobility advisors when needed
