About the Role
Oversee and manage the rollout of payroll systems across multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region, aligning with global standards and local compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of payroll processes in APAC countries
- Coordinate with regional teams to ensure accurate data migration
- Ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations
- Collaborate with technical teams to configure payroll systems
- Manage timelines and deliverables for implementation projects
- Identify and resolve payroll-related issues during rollout
- Train local teams on new payroll procedures and tools
- Develop project plans and track progress across jurisdictions
- Serve as primary contact for country-specific payroll queries
- Work with external vendors and partners as needed
- Validate payroll outputs against source data
- Support integration of HR and payroll systems
- Document processes and maintain implementation records
- Monitor data accuracy and consistency across regions
- Facilitate testing of payroll calculations and reports
- Escalate risks and issues to senior stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with global payroll policies
- Provide status updates to program leadership
- Manage stakeholder expectations across time zones
- Support change management activities
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions
- Review service level agreements for payroll providers
- Assist in resolving employee payroll inquiries
- Maintain awareness of regional regulatory changes
- Support audit readiness for payroll processes
