Aperture is looking for a Mobile Growth Manager to own the levers that drive app discovery and user retention. You'll sit at the intersection of App Store Optimisation and CRM, running experiments to improve acquisition, activation, retention, and monetisation.
What You'll Do
- Own ASO strategy and execution across iOS and Android.
- Conduct keyword research, write metadata, and monitor rankings.
- Optimise screenshots, icons, videos, and preview assets for conversion.
- Plan and test Custom Product Pages (iOS) and Store Listing Experiments (Google).
- Track performance of metadata and creative tests using App Store Console, Play Console, and third-party tools.
- Monitor competitors and category trends to identify new opportunities.
- Design and implement lifecycle journeys via email, push, and in-app messaging.
- Build onboarding, activation, re-engagement, and upsell campaigns.
- Segment audiences and set up behavioural triggers using tools like Braze or Customer.io.
- Write, test, and iterate on high-performing CRM copy and creative.
- Track and report performance across all campaigns, using product analytics and attribution tools.
- Prioritise and run A/B tests across the user journey, from store listing to onboarding to post-trial.
- Collaborate with performance and product teams to align store presence and lifecycle messaging with paid campaigns.
- Use insights from analytics, reviews, and customer feedback to improve funnel performance.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in a mobile growth, CRM, or ASO role (agency or in-house).
- Proven experience writing metadata and optimising app store assets.
- Experience designing, building, and optimising CRM flows (email/push/in-app).
- Familiarity with tools like AppTweak, Appfigures, Braze, Customer.io, Firebase, Amplitude, RevenueCat, Segment.
- Strong understanding of lifecycle metrics (D1/D7, churn, LTV, push open rate, trial CVR, install CVR).
- Ability to analyse and act on creative and messaging performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills—comfortable working cross-functionally with growth, design, product, and data.
- High attention to detail and comfort juggling multiple experiments at once.
Nice to Have
- Copywriting or creative direction experience (for ASO or CRM).
- Familiarity with paid UA strategy and alignment between ads and store.
- Knowledge of submission processes for App Store featuring.
- Experience in subscription-based mobile apps.
- Comfort setting up event tracking or working with devs to instrument CRM triggers.
